A clinic needs medicine on the shelf and money in the drawer long after the building is finished. So alongside Clinic One, a company — built on land that is already ours in Sierra Leone — to make and sell what the clinic and its community need.
Two things, kept apart on purpose
Gifts build the clinic. Partners build the company.
Clinic One
Donations fund the building and its first patient. They go to the nonprofit, are kept out of any medical or commercial payment, and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

The venture
Sales and partnerships fund the vitamin line, the pharmacy and, in time, a manufacturing plant. Nothing here is a donation, and nothing here funds the nonprofit.

Why the wall: mixing commercial upside into a charity is how charities lose the status that makes donations deductible. Keeping them separate protects both.
